CITY OF PROGRESS MUNICIPAL VIRUAL CHOIR
All Citizens, Residents & Visitors are invited to participate! The choir will record an original song for Season 2 of Prototype World of Tomorrow.
How it works
Download the sheet music for the song. Decide which part(s) you’d like to sing. (Please feel free to submit multiple parts; anything in your range!)
Download the audio track of the background music with someone singing just your part.
Plug in a microphone. If you don’t have one, just use a set of earbuds with a built-in microphone held a little bit away from your face.
Record yourself singing along! You can do this by either by using a program like Audacity or Garage Band, or just by using Voice Memos on you phone while listening along to the track.
Remember at the beginning to snap along three time so that we can sync up your voice with the rest of the choir.
Sing loudly, clearly, with a straight tone and limited vibrato, if possible.
When you’re happy with the results, email the file with JUST your voice to benjamin@dognamedspot.com. We’ll mix your voice with the rest of the choir to come out with a unique recording.
In thanks for your participation, we’ll be sending you early access to the finished mp3 and putting your name up here on the website!
